I know that these days there are plenty of places that are good at medial canthoplasty restoration, and they use techniques that suture well on the inside so scars hardly show, right..? I usually don't write posts like this, but I wanted to at least vent here.. But I didn't know any of that, and I had made appointments to visit a few good clinics first, but this doctor spoke so confidently, saying the surgery was easy. They also said it was simple, and since I wanted only a very slight restoration, I trusted them and booked it.. lol... But it turned out to be an old-style medial canthoplasty restoration using the XY surgical method. So now I have scarring under the inner corner of my eye, raised scar tissue, and redness. After a month, my friends around me could cover theirs with makeup, but for me, no matter how much makeup I apply, it won't cover, it's red, and it protrudes a lot. I really don't want to live.. Everyone asks what happened and why it scarred so badly haha. But the clinic says the scar tissue will go away with time, and only then will they give me scar-tissue injections. For aftercare, they only did swelling laser treatment because I asked, and they said injections are at one-month intervals, but after one shot I don't even know what difference it made, and it's steroids ㅠㅠ.. I just hope everyone shops around well for plastic surgery and gets procedures they are highly satisfied with.. Now it looks like I'll have to spend twice as much looking into revision surgery and scar clinics, and I miss my old eyes and tear up. Don't trust clinics too much.. Everyone has different skin types, and I'm angry at the doctor for operating without considering that. Even if they didn't know, they just smile and brush it off, saying it will be okay with time, and it makes me burn insideㅠㅠㅠ Even though I applied every medicine I could and took care of it, whether this is keloid or not, I'm angry and upset at this clinic for leaving visible raised scar tissue like this and making me suffer for over a month. Please, I just hope the scar tissue goes away quickly in proportion to the effort I'm putting in, and that I can live normally..
