I haven’t chosen a clinic yet, and I’m going for a consultation soon at the clinic I want the most. At a few places I’ve already been to, they said there’s a 90% chance the cause of my nasal obstruction is the septal extension. I said that even if osteotomy isn’t the cause of the obstruction, I still want osteotomy restoration because of the change in my appearance, and they said that’s possible too. I think the clinic I’m going to consult soon will probably give a similar answer. I’ll ask at the clinic I’m going to this time, but if they remove the septal extension, how would short-nose correction be done.. I’m not a piggy nose or upturned nose, but my nose is short, so that needs to be corrected. Of course I’ll definitely have the septal extension removed, but if they remove it, I don’t know what will happen with short-nose correction. Even if it’s not as dramatic as a septal extension, what kind of surgery is done to correct a short nose to some extent..? Do they make the implant/graft at the nasal tip extend farther?

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
