I chose the doctor, and since they said he was famous for contracted noses, I thought it made sense to go to someone who specialized in contracture rather than just a clinic that is good at noses. So I had it done by this doctor. On the day I went for the consultation, the doctor said I needed to do it right away, and it was so serious that he said inflammation was draining from my nose. I had lived with this appearance for over 10 years, so it did not really hit me, but after getting nose surgery, I regret not doing it sooner.
I think there are many people who are worried like I was. Cost may be a concern too, but I really think meeting a good doctor at a good clinic is a stroke of luck. I wish I could go back to the day I got nose surgery out of greed, but I still have more days ahead to live, so I am living satisfied. It has not been long since the splint was removed, so there is still some swelling, but since the nose shape changed so clearly right away, I want to show it off^^
Oh right, I had it done with a derotation method that lowers the nose using only ear cartilage. The cost was not much different from using costal cartilage. But because my inflammation was severe, they said if costal cartilage was used, there was a chance it could melt down again, so I chose the doctor’s technique? using ear cartilage to the extent that it would not rise back up.
