When I had my first surgery, I just followed my friend and got it done without thinking much, but as contracture started, I hated looking in the mirror and found it hard to meet people too.. After putting it off and off, I’m finally trying to get revision surgery now that I’m almost 50, but I really know nothing about this kind of thingㅠㅠ
Looking at posts, there are so many terms like lowering the columella, nasolabial angle, augmentation rhinoplasty, nasal septum, etc.. And there are also phrases like the nasal bridge has dropped?
How should someone with a nose like mine go for a consultation? My original nose was also small and short, so during my first surgery they said they couldn’t raise the bridge much, and what was used was silicone for the nasal bridge and AlloDerm for the dorsum. I have ear cartilage from both ears, but my ears are on the small sideㅠㅠ
These days it seems like they really project the nasal tip outward, but I don’t have much skin/flesh on my nose for thatㅠㅠ
Is revision surgery the answerㅠㅠ Or do I have to live like this forever..
