Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

If they say osteotomy restoration isn’t needed even after seeing the CT, does that really mean it’s not needed…

My nose became blocked after revision surgery, so I’m about to have a third surgery. I thought the causes were the osteotomy and septal extension. We already decided to remove the septal extension, of course, and I wanted to have osteotomy restoration, but both hospitals I went to looked at it visually, and I even got a CT scan at a radiology clinic to see it accurately, which cost over a hundred thousand won haha. Even after seeing that, they said there was absolutely no problem with the osteotomy line or anything like that, and that I probably didn’t need to restore it. Then I should trust them and leave that part alone, right? I think it has narrowed a lot because I know what my face looked like before. But the doctor who operated on me said so, and the doctors I consulted with also said the osteotomy wasn’t done too aggressively. If anything, they said it could be a case where it didn’t go in enough, so it was basically pointless.. But even if the osteotomy wasn’t done much, once they open the nose, couldn’t there still be an issue like the upper lateral cartilage being slightly compressed, even if it’s not a bone problem?
