I had a molar extracted almost 8 years ago in the military because of a cavity, then kept putting off treatment, so I went to Smart One Dental to get an implant estimate.
They took photos of my teeth, I had a brief consultation with the doctor, and afterward I had a detailed consultation with the nurse next to them. But they couldn’t explain the pros and cons at all. I don’t know what kind of training they received before starting work, but since I had to decide on expensive dental treatment and didn’t feel I could trust them, I gave up. When they basically just asked whether I was going to do it or not, I was so shocked and dumbfounded that I thought I’d just get a scaling and leave. The scaling done by that same nurse.. ㄷㄷ... In my life, I’ve never had such a difficult and painful scaling before ㅜㅜ I also had to keep my mouth open for a long time, so after the scaling ended, my jaw hurt for an hour. I couldn’t really judge the doctor’s skill, but I probably won’t go back again.
