It’s been about 2 weeks since my nose surgery lol It’s not fully settled yet, but the recovery has been better than I expected, so I’m leaving a review. My original bridge was low and my nose didn’t have much presence overall. The front view was plain too, but it looked even worse in side photos, so every time I looked at pictures I thought, ah, maybe I should do something about my nose For a man’s nose, if it’s too high or too flashy, I thought it would only make the nose stand out and look awkward. I wanted it to naturally add a bit of dimensionality to my face. Rather than asking for it to be made higher no matter what, I said I wanted the T-zone to be defined without looking unnatural on my face. The thing I worried about most after surgery was swelling, but there was really very little swelling, which surprised me lol I thought my face would still be very swollen at the 2-week mark, but recovery was faster than I expected, so daily life hasn’t been that inconvenient. Of course, if you look closely, there is still a little swelling left, but it feels like it’s settling faster than I expected, so I’m actually relieved lol I thought I’d have to avoid seeing people for a while because of the swelling, but I was more normal than I expected, which was surprising. It’s not fully settled yet, but I can feel that the bridge is more defined than before and my face definitely looks more three-dimensional. It seems like it came out as the clean, masculine nose I wanted rather than an unnaturally high nose, so I’m satisfied. People around me also said I look more refined and more sophisticated, which made me look in the mirror again by myself lol As expected, with cosmetic surgery, something that suits my face naturally is better than something that looks too obvious. It’s still only 2 weeks, so the swelling still needs to go down more and the nose still has more time to settle naturally, but so far the swelling is less than I expected and I like the result, so I’m satisfied lol It makes me wonder if I worried too much. And the director lol From the consultation before surgery all the way through the follow-up checks, I’m grateful for how carefully everything was handled. The result matters, but because they kept looking after me, half-joking and half-serious, it feels like I gained a second father lol
