Today marks week 2 after my nose surgery and chin advancement.
I went to have the stitches removed from my nose and inside my mouth. The surgery itself didn’t hurt, but removing the nose stitches seriously hurt like crazyㅜㅜ The stitches inside my mouth were dissolvable, but they said I could have them removed if they were uncomfortable, so I asked them to take them out. I heard that clinic uses expensive foreign sutures, so maybe that’s why it didn’t hurt at allㅋㅋㅋ
The big swelling that made me look like a toad has gone down, but the area around my chin is still very swollen. It feels like I’m wearing a mouthpiece on my lower gums. As the swelling around my mouth went down, my facial expressions became more natural and my pronunciation improved too. The toothache-like feeling from my chin being tightened is currently gone. The flesh at the area where the stitches were removed is raised and bulging a bit.
My nose still has that Avatar look, but I can see the swelling going down starting from the area between my eyebrows.
