I went because they said the consultation was very detailed, but it didn’t feel that way at all. There was no analysis of the problems with my face. It felt more like they were simply repeating their own opinion and trying to persuade me. It was like they were elaborating at length on one short conclusion: “Choose this surgical method.” They did not answer questions about concerns over side effects. For those questions, they cleverly avoided giving a logical answer based on medical knowledge and instead answered with emotional appeals. If you ask about the opinion of a specialist who disagrees with them, they either question that specialist’s character or say things like you should go get surgery from that specialist instead. It felt like they were missing the point of the question. Overall, it was an unsatisfactory consultation.
