Review 3 weeks after revision lateral canthoplasty and lower canthoplasty

It’s been a little over 3 weeks since I had revision surgery at Girin. When I had surgery at another hospital, there were only stitches, and it was so unnoticeable that I wondered if I had even had surgery. I was able to return to daily life in about a week. But after surgery at Girin, when I looked in the mirror, I thought even at 2 weeks it would be impossible to go about daily life, so I felt at a loss about how I would spend such a long time only at home. But it’s already almost been a month. Until before the stitches were removed after surgery, I had such a hard time because of conjunctival edema, but after the stitches were removed, it subsided quickly. Now the left side has healed to some extent, but on the right side, the area where I had the lower canthoplasty still looks lifted?? There’s something like that. I wonder when the right side will heal.. The redness at the outer corner of my eye is still severe, and I really think it’s a battle with time. This was my third revision surgery, and I went into it thinking it would be the last, so I told the director that overcorrection was okay and to open it as much as possible. Then the director said it would look a bit excessive, and looking at the post-op result, I do think they really opened it a lot. Right now, maybe because it was opened a lot, I look like I’m about to cry, and the outer corners of my eyes are red, so I feel awkward seeing myself and I just want it to settle quickly. Still, considering that it will attach a bit as it heals, it’s the straight-looking eyes I wanted!! If I had gone to another hospital, I don’t think they could ever have done it like this. My eyes looked closed off and stuffy at the back, but they opened them up refreshingly, so thank you. Smiling and eye-smiling still feel awkward, and it feels like my eyes stay still while only my mouth is smiling? My aegyo-sal also disappeared and is slowly coming back, but I think that will be resolved with time. I hope the redness and scars disappear quickly tooㅜㅜ Still, overall, I’m satisfied with the surgical result. If anyone else is thinking about surgery, don’t hesitate and just do it~~!
