1. Thank You Plastic Surgery (Director ㄱㅎㅅ): Reservation O He set the line several times, explained what would be needed depending on the case, and it made sense. The line was okay. He said ptosis correction could possibly make it look like sausage eyelids. Not recommended. If I wanted the line to show more, he recommended a forehead lift (I refused because I’m not considering it). Instead, he said he could raise the line slightly and match it as much as possible for symmetry and visibility of the line.
2. Glovi Plastic Surgery (Director ㄱㅈㅇ): Reservation X I showed him photos of what I wanted, and after he pinched my eyes a few times by himself, he set several lines to help me understand. He said that to get what I want, incision + ptosis correction would probably be right (it was the first time incision was mentioned, so I had a mental breakdown..) This director is someone who likes natural adhesion (buried suture), but he still said this. And if I’m going to do canthoplasty, he recommended doing front, back, and lower all together. Otherwise, just don’t do any at all. He said given my eye shape, I shouldn’t do only one (are my eyes that badㅠ sob) The best would be incision + ptosis correction + full canthoplasty, and next would be buried suture + non-incisional ptosis correction.
3. Marble Plastic Surgery (Director ㅅㅇㅎ): Reservation O It was really simple? straightforward? a 3-5 minute consultation. He pinched the line a few times by himself (didn’t show me) and said it seemed like this was all that could be done. He said the shape I tried making at home was the best option and showed me the line once... Huh? I was flustered. But after consulting at 1mm, I understood what he meant when he explained it in a shortened 3-minute way. He said upper canthoplasty would at least help the line show more (he said it after I brought it up first). Natural adhesion + upper canthoplasty / Since it’s my first surgery, incision is NOT recommended.
4. 1mm Plastic Surgery (Director ㄱㅎㅈ): Reservation O When he came in, he greeted me and introduced himself first. Super kind! He carefully set the line more than 10 times. He kindly listened to what I said and gave a relaxed consultation. I was satisfied! Since I won’t be doing incision, he said we should focus on line symmetry rather than eye symmetry. Non-incisional ptosis correction would have minimal effect and is not recommended -> if I want symmetry, it can be done effectively with incisional ptosis correction. If I want a huge effect, incision would be the way, but since that’s not what I want, he recommended natural adhesion + upper canthoplasty to naturally bring an image change.
Phew, I’m really going to choose a hospital from these now ㅠㅠ But I’m still torn. I’ll post about that on another board...! With more detail about why I’m 고민-ing and so on!
And when I did my first round of consultations at 6 places, when I said I wanted inline eyes with the front slightly opened like Kim Go-eun or ITZY Yeji, it felt like everyone said it was possible, possible? But once I started wanting a thin in-out line like Suzy or NewJeans Hyein, the consultation content at the 4 places in my second round gradually changed, even bringing up incision. I think I’ll need to factor in that it may later become inner double eyelids or an inline line ㅠ
