I consulted about a scar on my lip from an injury I got while exercising as a child. First, the director said it was an easy surgery and that the surgery time would also be short. I had surgery to remove the scar and suture it. However, my lip stayed swollen for about 4 to 5 days, which made daily life uncomfortable. About 50 percent of the surgical area returned to its original state.
