I was so nervous and anxious on the surgery day, and I remember the coordinator calming me down and holding my hand, telling me not to worry because the surgeon was skilled. Thanks to that, I was able to get through it without being even more tense, and after it was over I actually felt quite calm. I didn’t really feel much pain, and I didn’t even feel dizzy. In the early days after surgery there was bruising and swelling, so I rested as much as possible at home. By one week after surgery, the red bruising and swelling had mostly gone down and I could see everything settling in, and then I started to see the eyelid that had been drooping downward open up noticeably, so now my whole impression looks different.
