It has been a little over a month since I had buccal fat removal, but the change is not as dramatic as I expected lol. I had it because I was very self-conscious about the area beside my cheeks bulging when I smiled. Right after surgery, the swelling made me look even puffier than before, so I almost regretted it T_T The first few days, opening my mouth wide and eating were a little uncomfortable. After about two weeks, the swelling went down considerably, and I felt that the side line of my face looked a little more defined in photos. I am particularly satisfied that my cheeks bulge less when I smile. But I don't think everything has settled yet, so I will watch it a little longer. People around me just ask whether I lost weight. It hasn't changed dramatically as much as I expected lol. Since not all cheek fat is buccal fat, I think it is important to confirm that during the consultation. I wouldn't unconditionally recommend it; satisfaction probably varies depending on face shape.
