I had a consultation for the 3 types of facial contouring surgery. It was a surgery I had spent a very long time worrying about, and I already knew my own face well enough to know the limits of what could be improved, so I went in already aware of those boundaries. There was a consultation fee. However, during the doctor consultation, the important safety-related parts were not explained at all. Things like whether there would be a specialist anesthesiologist, how much could be resected in which area, and where the nerve line would be were all skipped, and the discussion focused only on the aesthetic side. In this day and age, I think that is rather dangerous. Especially the manager's statements kept changing about which areas would need surgery before and after, so my trust went down.
