First, the consultation fee is 20,000 won. The waiting time wasn’t long during the consultation, and the consultation with the clinic director was short too! At other hospitals, the director often talked more about the surgery, but here I liked that the director only explained what was necessary, like aftercare, cost, and additional explanations about the consultation with the surgeon. They also didn’t pressure me to pay a reservation deposit that day, and told me to 연락 only when I was ready for surgery. And most importantly, Dr. ㅂㄴㅎ told me, who had been planning cheekbone reduction, that my cheekbones were not that big and that liposuction alone could sufficiently solve the areas I considered a complex. I think I visited at least 8 clinics just for in-person consultations, and not once did a doctor mention liposuction, so at first I was surprised, but it made sense when the doctor explained it by actually touching my face and saying this is fat. The doctor also said that if only the cheekbones were reduced, the square jaw and chin would make the face look heavy from the side and from below, so the balance would be off. To sum up, they said the best option for me would be cheekbone liposuction, fat grafting to the hollow area under the cheekbones, and square jaw plus chin surgery. The cost is not cheap, so I think I need to think a little more because of my budget... But it’s known as a safe hospital, and the doctor seemed confident, so I think I’ll have surgery at Gyarameun.
