It's been 10 years since I had double jaw surgery and a T-osteotomy. I still haven't had any side effects, and the surgery turned out pretty natural. I don't feel the need for a lift, so I haven't had one yet either. Still, because the amount removed was small, it didn't have a dramatic effect. I'm satisfied that it was done safely.
