It was the worst consultation experience. I’ve been to places where the doctor looked tired and just gave a perfunctory consultation, but this was the first time a doctor insulted me personally while pointing out my face. When I asked how many mm of advancement would be needed, he shouted, saying how would he know by looking at it now, and anyway, since I looked like a weak man, I’d need a lot. It was a consultation, but he never listened to my questions at all, cut me off, and only kept shouting loudly before leaving. The consultation staff member was incredibly kind, the best ever. She apologized on his behalf and said he is kind to women, but can be scary and very forceful with men... so... judge for yourself. I just regret paying money for a consultation that felt insulting.
