For my first surgery 10 years ago, the eye-correction line became distorted, and now I have severe lagophthalmos and dry eye, so I'm looking into revision surgery. I was hurt a lot by how the hospital handled things. I wasn't this much of a coward before, but I became one. Only people who have experienced dry eye know how hard it is.
