More than ten years ago, I had lower canthoplasty, double eyelid surgery, and eye muscle correction here without knowing any better, and one side of the lower canthoplasty was too aggressive, causing functional dry eye and, cosmetically, asymmetry between my eyes. Now that I'm older, the dry eye has gotten even worse, so I'm looking into reconstruction and revision of the lower canthoplasty on one side. Right after surgery, when I slept at night and woke up, only that eye felt dry and gritty, and when the wind blew, it felt like air was getting into that eye and making it sting. I was uneasy from the start with this surgery here. The doctor kept touching and manipulating the area under one eye for a long time because something wasn't going well, and in the end that side was overcorrected, causing functional problems. The swelling after surgery was also enormous. It took like 3 to 4 hours. Because it wasn't under sedation, I remember watching and hearing the surgery and thinking instantly, "This person isn't skilled," and feeling extremely anxious. If you're planning surgery, don't be tempted by the advertising and decide carefully. Younger people too should not decide alone, but must listen carefully to the advice of those around them and choose the surgical method and clinic carefully.
