I went for a consultation on a recommendation from someone I know, and I had gone to consult about double eyelids. The doctor looked right at my eyes and said buried sutures would probably loosen easily, and because I also had ptosis, he recommended eyelid correction with incision. But because incision probably wouldn't work for my situation, I went with buried sutures. The swelling went down really fast (I only used cold compresses for the whole week), and it turned out very naturally, so friends around me kept asking where I had it done, and in fact one friend got surgery there after a recommendation too. It's been about 7 years now and I'm still extremely satisfied. And the doctor had worried a lot that buried sutures would loosen, but the surgery was so well done that they haven't loosened even once in 7 years.
