I just went for a consultation for an augmentation of the midface area. There was one doctor, and as soon as he saw me, he said the area was not very sunken and that inserting about 6–7 mm would be enough. When I asked whether that meant I did not need it, he said no, I would still see an effect, lol. The method would involve an intraoral incision, silicone, and no fixation. Since that matches what I had in mind, I would probably have it done here. He confidently said there would not be much swelling, which made it even more tempting. I am sure he would answer in detail if I asked more.
