0. Why I decided to do it Like everyone else, my problem was nasolabial folds.. It started with hollowness beside my nose and had reached the point where wrinkles were beginning to form around my mouth. I tried filler around my mouth and all sorts of things, but nothing lasted even a month. In the end, I decided I should fill the area beside my nose first, so I decided on midface augmentation. 1. Consultation I watched all the videos in advance on a community and wrote down what I wanted to ask before consulting. The doctor was confident, and when I asked about other procedures, they said I wasn’t old enough for them yet and wouldn’t do them, which made me trust them a little more.. lol The consultation with the manager wasn’t very helpful (but the doctor performs the surgery anyway, so whatever..). There was no pressure to book surgery or make a reservation, and the atmosphere was comfortable, so I was more satisfied than at other clinics. 2. Surgery Immediately after waking from anesthesia, I was quite satisfied with the result. At that point there was no nasal widening and my philtrum was unchanged, but they told me the final result would feel more natural than this. It has been about three days now, and the swelling is at its peak, so my philtrum looks longer and my nose has widened. It seems like it will return once the swelling fully goes down (the clinic said so too), but I’ll have to wait and see. 3. Facilities They don’t seem to do much advertising, and there were many affluent-looking women there. It seemed people came through word of mouth and video platforms, and everyone associated with the clinic had a very comfortable impression without an overly cosmetic-surgery look. The interior was excellent, with a private recovery room, sink, and locker. At other clinics, you have to store your belongings, wash your face, and move to a private room separately, but here everything was done in one room, which was really, really nice T_T 4. Kindness From the nurses in the operating room to the staff, everyone was kind, and above all, their chat responses were extremely fast. 5. Conclusion If the final result is about the same as the immediate postoperative result, I think I’ll be very satisfied. Since I don’t know yet because the swelling hasn’t gone down, I decided to set my surgery expectation rating at 4. If I remember after the swelling goes down, I’ll come back and revise this.
