The doctor’s consultation was good, but in the end I didn’t get the line I wanted. There was pressure to pay a deposit, and when I said I was thinking about the surgery date and would come back after deciding, the manager suddenly got very cold and, without even looking at my eyes, said, ‘Oh, then you can just leave.’ ... I’ve had consultations at several places, but this was the first time I’d met a manager like that.
