I got consultations at several places, and this was the only one that said to use silicone. The goal wasn't to make the nose higher, so the others didn't mention silicone, but only here did they... My skin is on the thin side, so I asked whether the silicone might show through, and said I didn't want to use silicone because of that. They said it had to be used for a smooth result. They said it wouldn't be stacked up high. I was the one who brought up that thin skin might make it show through; they didn't mention it before that.
