After my canthoplasty, whenever I took photos or smiled, the outer corner of my eye felt like it wasn't connected smoothly and looked awkwardly cut off. So every time I looked at photos someone took of me, I kept staring at that part. I thought about just living with it, but I couldn't stand it and went for a consultation. They said they could fix the shape by removing the tissue that needed to go with back-fold and lower-fold surgery, and bringing in what was needed. But while talking during the consultation, the issue of the inner part of my eyes I had originally been unhappy with also came up. The front line looked a bit flattened, so I asked first whether it might be better to do upper canthoplasty too, and the director agreed it would be fine to do all three if we considered the overall balance of the eyes. This time I really hope it turns out so well that when people look at my eyes they say wow, pretty, and I really want to get it right in just two surgeries.
