About 6 years ago I had buried double eyelid surgery. At the time I was young and clueless, so I couldn't expect the staff to be kind. At the consultation, I brought up wanting to do a canthoplasty too, but the doctor's advice not to do that surgery was really good. I think not doing it then, as instructed by the doctor, was the right choice. However, about 3 weeks after the buried surgery, a white thread-like thing showed through between the double-eyelid fold, and because of that I had to go back onto the operating table once more. It was clearly the hospital's fault, but without any real apology they just said they would put in a stitch and treated it that way. Four years later, the area where the thread was visible folded into two lines, and now even the end of that back line is almost completely undone. It was done at the most expensive place among the clinics I consulted at that time, but if I could go back then, I think I would have chosen somewhere else.
