I had surgery in 2020. It was a lip-corner lift, but a deep scar and wrinkle in the shape of the greater-than and less-than signs, like ' > < ', formed and never went away. (I received every scar care treatment from that hospital and used scar ointment for a long time, properly.) They also stitched the philtrum off to one side. I even consulted with the chief surgeon, but all the surgeons said, "The surgery went well." They also did not remove the stitches properly, so after a long time I had to ask them to take them out.
