The doctor started double eyelid surgery before the anesthesia had properly kicked in.. Normally, don't they start once the anesthesia has taken effect? Anyway, it hurt like hell.. It has been a little over a month since the surgery, and the swelling has hardly gone down. Even from far away, it is obvious that I had double eyelid surgery, to the point that people can tell. I think the swelling needs more time.
