It was my first surgery, so I had a lot of questions and was nervous. I bombarded the manager and the director with questions, and they answered everything for me.. They adjusted the line several times and told me to speak up if I wanted anything. Some people say they are strict, but for me that made me trust them more. Of course, that depends on personal preference.
