Having a big nose is my complex, and I’m probably the kind of person who’s extremely scared of putting an implant into my nose... So I tried osteotomy, thinking I should disturb it as little as possible and still make even a small change. Everyone said it was unbelievably painful, but for me, strangely enough, I didn’t feel any pain at all until the splint came off. It was so strange... Was the surgery even done properly?! Some people said it hurt so much they wanted to smash a window and jump out, lol. Anyway, mine turned out really well with almost no pain, and it’s been 3 to 4 years now and I’m living very well. I like that there have been absolutely no side effects!! No one can even tell I had anything done, haha. That means the change wasn’t very big, but even if it changed by 0.001 from my point of view, that’s meaningful enough for me! I believe the doctor did a good job, which is why it didn’t hurt much, haha. I’m also satisfied with the non-incisional alar base reduction! If there was one uncomfortable thing... they kept recommending silicone rhinoplasty and fillers to me until I left the hospital, so I did firmly refuse. I cautiously think it would be better if they worked harder to meet the patient’s needs rather than recommending those things too aggressively.
