I had a dorsal hump, and my nasal tip also drooped, so it was a case that made it look even more severe.. kind of like a witch nose... It had been a complex of mine since I was young, so I had been thinking about rhinoplasty, and this time I had surgery at a clinic. Before surgery, I went to as many as 6 consultations. The clinic where I had surgery was my first consultation, and I liked it from the beginning. I went to other places too because I was afraid I might regret it, but the others felt kind of ambiguous. Anyway, I told them my ideal was a straight-to-slightly-curved line like NewJeans Minji’s nose. My nasal bridge wasn’t extremely low, so I did it without an implant, and used autologous costal cartilage for the nasal tip. They said raising the nasal tip was essential, because if the tip wasn’t raised, the skin above would stretch and the nasal tip would droop. That was an explanation I hadn’t heard anywhere else, so I liked how detailed it was, and the doctor was very clear about what was possible and what wasn’t. I also had columella correction, long-nose correction, and correction for a slightly crooked nasal bridge done together. My dorsal hump was really severe, so I wondered whether the nose surgery would turn out well, but the moment the splint came off, it looked so good that I was shocked. I didn’t know the line would come out this well, and it suits my face well, so I’m completely satisfied.
