Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

One-month review after facial contouring surgery, sharing the changes from doing the chin tip + cheekbones together

Hi! It’s been exactly one month now since I had facial contouring surgery at ㅇㅇㄷ. Honestly, my chin tip protruded forward, so I really hated having a prognathic jaw... Every time I took a side-profile photo, all I could see was my chin, and I even started hating taking photos with other people... I guess the bones in my face are kind of fully developed too, because my cheekbones also protruded a lot, you know? When my hair was short, I heard a lot that I looked like a man... I worried about it so much and went around for consultations, but I was really scared they might say I’d need double-jaw surgery too, you know? I had heard a lot of things like, if you get double-jaw surgery, you have to sign some kind of waiver giving up your body rights? Stuff like that.. But the director said there was no need to go as far as double-jaw surgery, and that facial contouring surgery alone would be enough. So with a bit of hope, I decided to have my cheekbones done together too! Everyone says facial contouring causes a ton of swelling, so I was really worried, you know? But maybe because I’m naturally the type who doesn’t swell much, even though it’s only been one month, most of the major swelling seems to have gone down. My friends were already shocked when they saw the line taking shape. Maybe it’s because the director performed the surgery so cleanly, but my recovery speed is really on the fast side! It’s still only the one-month mark, so I’m trying to be careful with everything!!!! Even just looking at my current condition, the change is really big. Since the chin tip that used to stick out has moved back, my side profile looks more refined, and my cheekbones have become smoother too, so should I say my impression looks much gentler? Before, I was always busy trying to hide my face shape, but now I enjoy looking in the mirror. If there are people like me who are considering double-jaw surgery because of a protruding anterior chin, definitely go get a consultation first! The fact that it can change this much with facial contouring alone feels like a whole new world.
