Has anyone here gone to 7 consultations? And for a first surgery too lol Every time I went to a consultation, I’d come home and look things up and get torn, then go again and come home torn again lol;;; While browsing this community, someone said that if you’re debating whether or not to get surgery, you shouldn’t do it, so I thought maybe I should just live as I am.. but I really did want nose surgery, and I wondered if I was going to end up obsessing over my nose like this.. lol I really couldn’t figure it out, so I talked to an acquaintance who had rhinoplasty and went for a consultation at Mighty. Somehow, it felt like this was the place. Unlike the other clinics I’d visited, the consultant really focused on the direction I wanted? and only talked about exactly what was needed for the surgery, with no unnecessary talk at all, so I actually liked that. The doctor’s consultation also listened well, mainly about the natural straight-to-curved line I wanted, and checked my nose carefully. The explanation while pulling on my nasal tip was really helpful. After listening to all the consultations, I decided on surgery: autologous costal cartilage for the nasal tip and silicone for the bridge, done done done. Now 3 months have passed, so I’m finally writing this.. lol First of all, like I saw in every review, after nose surgery the swelling is severe, you get really puffy, breathing is extremely hard, and the autologous rib cartilage harvest area hurts. But that can’t really be helped, and after removing the nasal packing, I seriously felt like I could live again. Around ten days later, I had the splint removed, the stitches at the rib area removed, and got swelling laser treatments, so I think the swelling went down well. After follow-ups and somehow just letting time pass, I started wondering why I only did my nose now. I should’ve done it earlier.. I should’ve asked my acquaintance earlier.. The line is natural and pretty, so I’m satisfied.. Anyway, I’m so satisfied that I kept saying I should buy my acquaintance a meal, and we’re meeting tomorrow haha
