One-month review after rhinoplasty at BT Plastic Surgery Clinic. I had Personal Fit rhinoplasty using autologous costal cartilage, with septal work, nasal bridge augmentation, columella lifting, and cartilage suturing. During weeks 1 and 2 after rhinoplasty, I could only breathe through my mouth, so it was really hard. It was my first time experiencing my tongue getting so dry that it cracked! I felt like I needed to drink a lot of water During weeks 3 and 4, maybe because of nasal swelling, it was still hard to breathe through my nose. I ended up breathing through my mouth a lot. Now I can breathe through my nose, but I’m told it makes a lot of whistling sounds. They said swelling can remain for up to 6 months. I think the director pursues a natural-looking nose! My nose became higher, but not extremely high, and I heard people say I became prettier more often than asking if I had surgery. I’m looking forward even more to how my nose will look at 6 months!
