Lifting Reviews

I tried meridian massage, Botox, and lifting treatments, but eventually got facial contouring surgery!

It has been one month since I had two types of facial contouring surgery (cheekbones and square jaw)! My square jaw and prominent cheekbones had always been a concern, so I feel like I had tried almost every kind of facial shape management except surgery, including regular meridian massages, square-jaw Botox, temple filler, lifting procedures, and beauty devices. But even at the dermatology clinic, they told me that most of the facial fat and muscle were already gone, and that unless the remaining bone was addressed, further procedures would not make a big difference. The more procedures I had, the more hollow my face became and the more the bone stood out, which stressed me out even more, so I eventually started looking into facial contouring surgery.

Also, since I am still a college student, cost was a major concern. When I went for consultations at other hospitals, they asked for additional fees that were almost more than double the event price, so I was shocked(?) every time I heard the price. But this clinic, unlike the others, had no additional fees and the price was exactly the event price listed, so I think I felt more drawn to it. On top of that, it is a facial-contouring-specialized clinic and not a factory-style hospital, with a one-doctor system led by Director Oh Jung-seok, so I felt more reassured. After looking into countless hospitals, I ultimately decided to have surgery there haha.

The consultation was done very kindly by the consultant! I brought photos of influencers and celebrities with the face shape I wanted, and I liked that she immediately understood the kind of look I wanted and consulted with me accordingly. Even the day before surgery, I separately sent about 10 photos of my desired face shape through KakaoTalk, and right before surgery the director checked them once again and said he would create it like that, so I felt reassured again as I went into surgery!

Honestly, I was so scared right up until the surgery that I was trembling, but once I fell asleep and woke up, it was over..! I think I worried way too much for nothing lol.

From right after surgery until days 3 and 4, my face was extremely swollen, but I was surprised because my cheekbones had really completely disappeared… At first, I couldn’t open my mouth at all, so even drinking water was hard, and not being able to brush my teeth was really painful. After about 2 to 3 weeks, I could eat most foods as long as they weren’t tough! Now that I’m one month post-op, I’m amazed every time I look in the mirror… I can’t believe this face shape is really my face, and selfies come out nicely from any angle, so taking photos is fun Also, my face is slightly on the long side, so I was worried that reducing only the cheekbones and square jaw would make it look longer, but it actually looks shorter, and even my midface seems shorter!! I love it so much that I want the semester to start already so I can go back to school I think I would have regretted it more if I hadn’t gotten facial contouring surgery this vacation!! I have many friends who are considering facial contouring too, and they all say they want to do it at the same clinic I went to lol. It is a clinic I really want to recommend!!
