Early-to-mid 40s, one-month lower blepharoplasty review at ㅁㄷㅇ Plastic Surgery

I looked into lower blepharoplasty because of the vertical wrinkles under my eyes and the bulging that made me look tired under the light, and now it has been one month since my lower blepharoplasty surgery. As someone who has exercised my whole life, it was okay except for losing about 5 kg of muscle because I was completely prohibited from exercising for the entire month, other than light walks. The yellowish bruising and swelling in the front cheek and cheekbone areas have completely disappeared. Also, up until weeks 2 and 3, it felt awkward when I opened my mouth wide, but that has gone away now. The only thing is that scar tissue has formed on the outer part of the eye where the incision was made, and when I close my eyes, it feels somewhat foreign and there is also pain. They say scar tissue varies from person to person and can last up to 6 months if it is prolonged. So they said that when I go to the hospital this time, they will check the condition and may give me an injection that helps treat the scar tissue. Anyway, currently, except for the fact that the stitch marks on that eyelid area are still slightly dark and have not returned to my original skin color yet, and except for the scar tissue area, I am very satisfied. Just this alone makes me feel like I have gone back to my 30s. In my mid-40s, I thought a lot about whether to get under-eye fat repositioning or lower blepharoplasty, and I also had pronounced under-eye wrinkles... Following the doctor’s recommendation that the wrinkles could become worse with under-eye fat repositioning, I chose lower blepharoplasty, and I truly think it was an excellent choice. With lower blepharoplasty, the chronic vertical wrinkles in an area where I could not even get Botox under the eyes, which had gradually been increasing, and the bulging tired-looking appearance have all disappeared and become neat. I am looking forward to seeing how it will look once the pain and swelling around this scar tissue area improve and the color around the aegyo-sal area returns.
