Double eyelid surgery review after 6 years

I got the 3 procedures of medial epicanthoplasty + ptosis correction + double eyelid surgery, and based on 2019 prices, it was around 2.4 million KRW. I went to 6 places, and it was on the expensive side. To write out the pros and cons: since I got the double eyelids I wanted, and maybe because I did ptosis correction together, my eyes open wider. But since I originally had sleepy-looking half-open eyes, I became someone with double eyelids who still opens their eyes sleepily. lol Aesthetically, it definitely did make me much prettier than having none.

The downside is that they didn’t tell me even a bit about medial epicanthoplasty scarring, but the scar is the most visible and lasts a long time. Red > lighter than my skin. Now it definitely barely shows, but it took over a year until it stopped being noticeable. (It gets covered if I wear makeup, so it’s okay.)

Also, this started at some point after the double eyelid surgery, but when I stay awake for a long time without sleeping? The inner corner of my eye (the medial epicanthoplasty area) gets insanely itchy. It may not be only because of the medial epicanthoplasty, but location-wise I think it might be because of it.

Lastly, during surgery. My blood pressure is low, but I don’t have hypotension. But during surgery, I developed low blood pressure, so it was hard. The surgery ended well, but even though people say double eyelid surgery is the simplest surgery, surgery is still surgery.. It was freaking hard.
