Honestly, up to day 3 after surgery, it was a little difficult because of the swelling, but maybe I recover quickly, because after that period, the swelling went down fast! Maybe because the weather was cold, walking seemed even more effective, and I recovered by starting with soft foods. The pain wasn’t as bad as I expected either, so I think I managed daily life pretty smoothly. It wasn’t so hard that I couldn’t do it again if I had to get the surgery again!!
At the one-month mark, I looked at the 3D CT with the doctor and confirmed that the bones had settled well, and that really put my mind at ease. I’m so satisfied with how I look different day by day, to the point that the time I spent worrying feels like a waste.
