I had severe rhinitis, my nose was often blocked, and my quality of life was declining, so I looked into it and found something called functional rhinoplasty. An ENT clinic said they would do functional nose surgery and septal surgery, and also cosmetic nasal tip surgery using donated costal cartilage, so I had the surgery. I trusted only what the clinic said, that it would go well and that breathing would become easier, and went through with it. After surgery, one month and then two months passed, and breathing was uncomfortable and the nasal tip was too high (I had asked them to make it natural). When I told the clinic, they said it would be okay once the swelling went down, so I waited... It has been 8 months now, but the nasal tip is much higher than the bridge, and breathing is still uncomfortable. The nasal tip is also very hard.... I don’t know if I need revision rhinoplasty.. I really regret the choice I made because I wanted to breathe more comfortably.. Everyone... please be careful.... I’m leaving this post in the hope that it may help even one person...
