I went in for revision surgery, but when they opened it up, they said Medpor was inside. They told me to just remove it for now and schedule another date, so I came back. I’ve seen cases where they do the revision surgery immediately while removing it, so I’m wondering if it’s right to leave a gap like this...(I had already paid the full surgery fee and gone into the operating room, but they charged me separately again for the removal cost) I’m so anxious that contracture might happen while I wait a few months. I’m wondering if anyone here has had removal and then revision surgery.

I went because I wanted to check for inflammation, but they said inflammation can’t be confirmed unless it’s visible to the eye, and if the symptoms get severe, I should come in to have it removed!! I asked if removing it within 6 months…
