I had my first surgery the year before last, and it was seriously a complete failure. The nasolabial angle lifted, the nasal tip drooped, and a step-off formed on the nasal bridge, making it look sunken; I knew there could be side effects after nose surgery, but I had honestly never seen a nasal bridge step-off before, so I had no idea I’d end up with that kind of complication; I felt like I was going to develop nose dysmorphia, so I looked into revision surgery and went to consultations at several clinics. Then I saw a clinic’s Instagram, looked up reviews, and ended up getting surgery there. The consultation was thorough, and the people were kind. But honestly, that wasn’t what mattered most to me. I just wanted the surgery to turn out well.. that was the one thing. It’s been 1 month since the surgery now, and the step-off on my nasal bridge has been filled in? and my nasal tip is definitely much prettier and more defined, so it has a nice curve now. Part of me thinks I should’ve searched more carefully from the start, and part of me is just relieved that it turned out well even now.. lol
