I was living with a nose I wasn’t happy with, and eventually I felt like I couldn’t keep going like that, so I got revision rhinoplasty at a community clinic. Ha.. Honestly, even looking into revision rhinoplasty was so stressful, and going into the operating room on the day of surgery felt like a huge burden too Because of that, I really hoped this revision would be my last, so I’m posting this review to maybe get some advice? from people who have already had revision surgery about how my progress looks. For the nasal bridge, I had silicone, and for the nasal tip, donated costal cartilage was used. It’s been about a month, and visually, I think a lot of the swelling has gone down now. It also seems to have settled into place to some extent? Thankfully, nasal congestion or discomfort isn’t severe either. More than anything, I feel like the nose line that I wasn’t happy with turned out well, and I’m wondering if I can stop thinking about another revision this time. What do you think?? People around me also say things like, “You went through so much getting revision rhinoplasty, and after all that, it seems okay this time,” so I do feel relieved, but they’re also people I know, so I wonder if they’re only complimenting me. Please give me an objective evaluation!
