A few years ago, I had surgery to set protruding ears upright using donated cartilage, but my satisfaction is low. In just a few months, they went back to their previous shape exactly, and I don’t think this clinic has expertise in ear surgery. When I looked into it belatedly, I found that most ear-specialized clinics do not set them upright with implants, but use the ear’s own cartilage. I regret rushing into surgery here without knowing much and without going around for consultations at multiple places.
