It has been about 8 months after cheekbone surgery.

I had it in mid-January, so it will soon be almost 8 months. Even now, people barely notice any change. Even people I meet after several years all say I look the same. Still, I felt strongly that I had finally done what I wanted to do myself.. But maybe starting a little over a month after surgery, when I touch the side cheekbone area and even the diagonal area coming down to the middle of the cheek, it tingles and zaps. The left side is very severe, and the right side is a bit milder.. Even just brushing against it makes it tingle and zap. And if I talk even a little too much, a bone-like sound comes from the left side, like crack, crack.. I have a job where I have to talk a lot, so this really bothers me. My personality is very dull, so I just lived thinking it would get better.. I went to the hospital in May, and even there they said they had never had a case like this, and that after waiting a little longer, if it still didn’t improve, they would do revision surgery. But now, 8 months later, it is the same. Only now I’m getting worried and can’t sleep at night. My personality really is dull, isn’t it..-_- And recently, it seems like my cheeks have started sagging too. There was no effect, my sensation is not normal, and on top of that my cheeks are sagging, so I wonder what kind of physical and emotional suffering this is. They said cheek sagging wouldn’t happen, so I trusted that one thing and had it done at an expensive place that uses a scalp incision.. Is there anyone with symptoms like mine? Is this really a complication.. I truly never dreamed I would become a complication patient. I’m planning to go back to the hospital this Saturday.. Even if they say they’ll do revision surgery, I’m scared of undergoing general anesthesia again, and I’m also scared it might continue like this even after doing it again.
