Removal booked after 6 months.. [Please refer to this if you’re planning surgery.]

In early August 2005, I had 3 mm silicone on the nasal bridge.. and cartilage for the nasal tip. It has been exactly 6 months now.. (It was hard waiting 6 months.) But.. next Tuesday, I’m going to have it removed.. I’m absolutely not planning to have revision surgery either.. I had only been reading posts in this community every day, and I’m writing this for reference.. First.. my face is very slightly on the long side.. Before surgery, I was often told my usual image looked somewhat modest and feminine. My nose shape was originally fine, but the glabella area was low, so I wanted to raise it slightly overall, which is why I had rhinoplasty.. To start with the conclusion.. If your face is slightly long.. or your nose was already fairly okay.. or if you’ve been told you’re pretty.. please be really careful about rhinoplasty.. Especially those with thin skin like me.. (They say it’s okay if you use your own tissue..) Be careful.. Anyway.. in my opinion.... 1. If you do your nose, your face definitely looks longer. The facial golden ratio that plastic surgery clinics talk about isn’t everything.. There are faces with good proportions that still aren’t that great.. (For reference, the friend who did it with me has a rounder face, so hers was at least okay..) 2. For people with thin skin, silicone really doesn’t seem right. I think a clinic that can perform rhinoplasty using many different methods is good.. The doctor who did mine seemed confident only with silicone from the very beginning.. Even though he said my skin was very thin, he still did it with silicone.. (Now.. the two straight implant edges are way too obvious, and I even had an allergic reaction.. my nasal bridge is still red.. sigh) 3. Your image changes more than you expect.. (Maybe this is just my case..) It’s true that after rhinoplasty, your facial features become much more defined.. Some people say I became prettier.. But.. in my case, the biggest dissatisfaction was that my image changed.. The doctor said raising it 3 mm would never change my eye shape, but honestly, it does change.. Everyone said the nose was one thing, but my eye shape changed, so I looked different.. (It may also be an optical illusion..) Put nicely, it looks more refined, but put badly.. it makes me look older and fiercer.. Anyway, the reason I’m not getting revision surgery is also because of my image. 4. With cosmetic surgery, I really think the most important thing is not just being pretty, but making it natural, unnoticeable, and suited to your facial image. But even if removing the silicone makes me uglier, I really never want rhinoplasty again.. Please take my post only as a reference.. Please get many consultations..
