I only had septal extension and ear cartilage used for my nasal tip, but it’s much harder than I expected and the foreign-body sensation is uncomfortable, so I wanted to remove it and had consultations at 2 places. The surgeon who operated on me said it can be removed, and if it’s uncomfortable, let’s remove it, but because of the shape, let’s remove about 80%. The surgeon at another hospital said if there’s no problem, just live with it, and that if I remove it, it will collapse, so I’m really worried. I can’t live my whole life with a nose that’s this hard and uncomfortable If only about 80% is removed, will the hardness and foreign-body sensation go away?
