It has been 3 weeks since L-shaped silicone removal. Since it was L-shaped silicone from 20 years ago, I chose a hospital that said they would do an open approach, considering the capsule or cartilage repositioning. I passed on the 2 places that said they would do a closed approach. The top is before silicone removal, and the bottom is after removal. Fortunately, there is no splitting along the nasal bridge, so the nasal dorsum looks smooth. My nose does hurt from time to time. I’m still not sure whether the contraction phase hasn’t come yet. The nostril shape was asymmetric around one week, but now it has returned to symmetry, and the columella was also crooked after removal but returned to normal again.
