As someone who does a lot of online research, for months I gathered nose shapes I liked + reviews, and I had already decided in my mind on revision surgery, so I went for a revision rhinoplasty consultation with Director ㄱㅈㅌ at ㅈㅇㅌ!
First, after booking, I waited a basic 40 minutes and had a CT scan..ㅋ Then I waited another 20 minutes, had a consultation with the manager, waited another 20 minutes, then had the director consultation (about 30 minutes).
The reasons I decided on revision surgery were that the nasal tip from surgery 3 years ago was crooked, slightly droopy, and the glabella area was low. I explained this while showing photos, and the consultation was about raising the height little by little overall in a refined but noticeable way. While showing the CT, he touched my nose directly with his hand and used a cotton swab to match the sense of crookedness, and he consulted very kindly.
He printed the side-view photo, and on it he used a pencil to draw the final side line while discussing it.
Silicone (replace existing 4 mm -> 5 mm), (a wider implant to make the glabella area look slightly fuller), septal cartilage (ear cartilage if insufficient), use stronger donated costal cartilage), and long-nose correction were what we discussed.
Since it was revision surgery and I had heard ㅈㅇㅌ is a bit expensive, I went in roughly prepared, but with the event applied (photo review), and maybe because it wasn’t Director ㄱㅈㅅ, the price wasn’t bad compared with what I expected. Also, personality-wise, going around Seoul for 2-3 hours at a time and getting multiple revision consultations is impossible for me, so I paid the deposit right away (200,000 won). Surgery is in mid-January.
For reference, my eyes are subtly asymmetrical and have a slight sausage-like feel, so since I was doing this, I wanted to do revision eye surgery together too, and I consulted about it. But he said he wouldn’t recommend revision surgery, explained things realistically and carefully, said everyone has this degree of asymmetry and that my eyes are already pretty enough, so somehow I trusted him more..
