I’m still taping and the external stitches haven’t been removed yet, but unlike what I was worried about before surgery, I feel like my nose has gone back to something close to my original nose, so I’m somewhat satisfied. Of course, it’ll still take a few more months after the taping comes off but I feel so relieved. And it’s so comfortable. Being truly comfortable is the best I’m so happy there’s no pulling at the nasal tip. Looking at what was removed, during my first surgery they had put in a nasal tip support and added several pieces of septal cartilage to the tip. People say it becomes natural after a few months, but even after 3 months my nasal tip was red, and it was still like that after 4 months. So even if I left it in longer, I wouldn’t have liked the nose shape…
